Crop uses your manual margins (same on every page). Auto-Crop detects each page's actual content bounding box automatically.

Will the cropped content be deleted from the file?

No — only the visible region changes. The full page content is still in the file. To permanently remove the cropped data, run Flatten or Sanitize afterwards.

How do I undo a crop?

Re-open the PDF in PrivaTools Crop with negative margins to expand the box, or run Flatten which bakes the current crop in.
